Setting phone limits, in order
A phone is always within reach, and a home-screen icon opens the site in one tap with no address bar. That is why settings work better than willpower. This page goes account limits → phone time limits → icon and alert clean-up, with the exact menus to tap, taken from Apple and Google help pages read on 2026-11-02.
Why account limits come first
A phone setting stops working the moment you pick up another device or open another browser. A limit on the SNOW account applies wherever you sign in. So set the account side first and treat the phone settings as a second wall against reflex taps. The account options below are from Article 10 of the terms.
| Account setting | Takes effect | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit, wager and loss limits | Lowering is immediate; raising or removing waits 24 hours | The day-long delay on increases is what stops an impulsive reversal |
| Break of 1, 7, 30 or 90 days | Deposits, games and bonuses blocked; withdrawals still allowed | Cannot be shortened or ended early, so try a short one first |
| Self-exclusion for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanently | Immediate; cannot be cancelled during the period | Permanent cannot be reversed. No VIP stage rewards during a break or self-exclusion |
iPhone: a time limit with Screen Time
- In Settings › Screen Time, turn on App & Website Activity so visited sites start to appear in the lists.
- Open snsn1.com once in Safari, then go back to Screen Time › App Limits › Add Limit.
- At the bottom of the list, open Websites, choose snsn1.com and tap Next.
- Set the time to 1 minute, turn on Block at End of Limit, and tap Add.
- Turn on Downtime to allow only chosen apps during set hours, such as midnight to 7 a.m.
When the time runs out a block screen appears. Without a Screen Time passcode, one tap on Ignore Limit lifts it, which is why the passcode step below matters. With a passcode, Ask for More Time asks for it first.
iPhone: stopping the site from opening at all
Adding the address to the web content restriction is stronger than a time limit: Safari will not load it at all.
- Settings › Screen Time › turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions.
- Open App Store, Media, Web & Games › Web Content. On older iOS this is Content Restrictions › Web Content.
- Choose Limit Adult Websites, then under Never Allow tap Add Website and enter snsn1.com.
- If you hear the SNOW address has changed, add the new one in the same place, along with any look-alike spellings.
Limit Adult Websites also blocks other sites Apple classes as adult. If something you need gets caught, add it under Always Allow.
Android: a time limit with Digital Wellbeing
- Open Settings › Digital Wellbeing & parental controls › Dashboard.
- Choose Chrome and set an App timer to the shortest time. When it runs out, Chrome is paused until midnight.
- If you installed the site as a web app through Chrome, some phones list it as a separate app on the dashboard. Give it a timer too.
- Add Chrome and the web app to Focus mode with a schedule; during those hours their icons turn grey and will not open.
- Bedtime mode turns the screen greyscale and silences notifications at night.
Chrome has no site block list that an adult account can set for itself, and the timer resets every midnight. On Android, then, the time limit works best combined with the icon, alert and password clean-up below.
Clearing the icon, alerts and saved password
This removes the shortcuts your hand reaches for first. All of it takes under five minutes.
| What to clear | iPhone | Android |
|---|---|---|
| Home-screen icon | Long-press the icon › Delete Bookmark | Long-press › Remove or Uninstall; for an installed web app, App info › Uninstall |
| Site notifications | Settings › Notifications › the web app’s name › Allow Notifications off | Chrome › Settings › Site settings › Notifications › snsn1.com › Block |
| Saved password | The Passwords app (iOS 18) or Settings › Passwords › delete the snsn1.com entry | Chrome › Settings › Google Password Manager › delete the entry |
| History and autocomplete | Delete the site from Safari history | Delete it from Chrome history |
| Promotional channels | Leave and block messenger channels and groups that push bonuses or events | Same |
Set the account limits before deleting the password. Without a saved password, signing back in takes a few minutes, and those minutes are room to stop.
Let someone else hold the Screen Time passcode
A passcode you chose yourself is one you will undo yourself. Under Screen Time › Use Screen Time Passcode, have a family member or someone you trust type the four digits. Without it you cannot extend time on the block screen or edit the blocked-site list.
- A forgotten passcode can be reset with your Apple Account, so treat it as a pause for second thoughts rather than a lock.
- Android’s Digital Wellbeing has no passcode and can be switched off in Settings. On Android, lean more on the clean-up step and the account limits.
When you want to undo it
If you find yourself opening these settings to switch them off, that is the moment to talk to someone. Gambling Therapy offers free online support in many languages; in Korea, call 1336 (Korea Center on Gambling Problems), which also takes calls from family members.
- Raising an account limit waits 24 hours. If you change your mind in the meantime, lowering it again applies at once.
- Breaks and self-exclusion can be tried with a short period first, but once started they cannot be shortened.
